THE BERNHARD PERSPECTIVE
In our primary system, only the top two vote-getters move on to the November finals. With eight Democrats running and only two Reeps, if we don’t play or cards right we could get shut out and both of those could be Republicans. So please, let’s all get on the same bandwagon. Here’s the plan:
Do NOT Vote Early. Wait until after the last debate on May 5. Watch the polls and wait for a clear frontrunner among the Democratic candidates to emerge. Then, no matter whom you prefer, we suck it up and all consolidate behind that candidate. We must absolutely NOT split our votes across multiple Democratic candidates.
Imagine the embarrassment and humiliation of having our beautiful California, the most progressive state in the Union (with the possible exception of New York), being fronted by some mealy-mouthed, lying, MAGA Republican POS.
We simply cannot let that happen.
